Showroom Renovation PART 2

SHOWROOM FAVORITE GETS A FACELIFT

Our Ultracraft display has been a showroom favorite for many years- even featured on our signature Wood Palace shopping bags. The Metro-Retro Style Tim created here featured a black and white color palette that is appealing to so many. But when we decided to give this classic beauty a facelift, bold and adventurous was the way to go.

CUSTOM COLOR: Looking for a cool, coastal feel with a bold pop of color, We chose Sherwin Williams Lupine

Ultracraft Cabinetry will create custom color cabinets from any brand name paint or stain. Keeping the original footprint of this massive 10 foot island, we replaced doors and drawer fronts in our custom color.

CONTRASTING ACCENTS: Adding select accent pieces brings a warm wood feeling into our coastal retreat.  We chose to accent the perimeter with slab drawers in a textured melamine finish. This wood-look cabinet is popular for its low maintenance durability and realistic texture and color. A cooktop with deep drawers is an optimal place to create a focal point.

A shiplap accent on the back of the island creates balance, and an understated element of surprise! We love the driftwood feel these accents provide.

PRO TIP: Nervous about going BOLD with color? Adding a contrasting color under the seating space is a bold choice with very little commitment.

COUNTERTOPS: Our makeover features Silestone quartz tops with waterfall edge on the island. We chose Coda in a brushed finish for the perimeter and Calacatta Gold with a  waterfall edge on the island. To learn more about waterfall counters read this article on Houzz.com.

But wait- there’s more! Stay tuned to see our choices in tile, paint and accessories.  Any customers who visit the showroom can see for themselves how their kitchen might look mid-project. We are looking forward to sharing the finished products with you!
