Showroom Renovation PART 1

SHOWROOM RENOVATION: PART 1

Exciting things are happening in the Wood Palace Kitchens showroom! We like to keep our displays fresh and enjoy updating them every few years. It’s an opportunity for our design team to create new experiences for our customers. We always want to showcase the most current products on the market. Displays typically live on our floor for about 5 years. When we consider updating a display, it’s all about predicting the future and we strive to present up and coming trends while keeping a classic and timeless aesthetic. We are currently under construction and want to share the mid-project process with you.

Plato Cabinets are a full custom line with endless potential. For this display we were inspired by West Coast style and incorporated the Shaker  door style with SoHo brass accent. Marine, a smooth emerald green color is base accent. This fresh, bold choice has been a favorite in traditional homes and modern spaces alike. Custom brass inlay accents are the “wow” factor to the kitchen’s perimeter, which features Viking appliances and a 36” statement hood The crisp, white wall cabinets keep the space bright and lift the eye.

The island is really the showstopper, with warm Quartersawn oak cabinets and a unique banquette with storage seating. On the back side of the island, a beverage refrigerator and wine storage evoke possibilities for entertaining, while loads of deep drawers maximize storage potential.

Perimeter countertops (yet to be installed) will be quartz by LG Viatera- We chose Mica because of its uncanny resemblance to natural quartzite, without the maintenance of delicate stone.

The Island top will be Dekton, a unique porcelain like textured surface which compliments the quartersawn oak perfectly.

We can’t wait to show you the finished product- there are more selections to share, including hardware, tile, paint and accessories. We have several ongoing projects this month,  inside and out- and look forward to sharing all the details with you. Customers who visit the showroom these days can get a good glimpse at a project in action. Give us a call to schedule an appointment!
