What’s Hot In The Kitchen

organizing a kitchenOne word: Organization

How your kitchen space is designed and organized has a huge impact on your life.

As an example, if the cooking utensils are located across the room from the range, you will spend precious time retrieving them. Not only are you wasting time, but you become frustrated.

Another example, wouldn’t it be nice to have the spices next to the counter where you prepare the food to be cooked? Or right next to the cooktop if you are the type of cook that adds spices as you go?

Let the space help you get through your day more easily. Believe it or not, kitchens can work with you not against you. It’s all in the design.

Isn’t life difficult enough without having these frustrations especially when these situations can be remedied with a caring designer? A caring kitchen designer is one who will listen to how YOU cook in the kitchen.

There are many options today for the kitchen. Some of the options are pull out spice racks in the base and wall cabinets, knife and silverware drawer inserts, pull out tray dividers and so much more.

Take for example a tilt out soap tray. It is true it holds the sponge and bottle washer but it also holds your rings. (This is great when you want to make a meatloaf and you don’t want to get the mixture in your ring. Now, you can take off your rings and have a safe place for them!)

Yes, the tilt out soap tray has been around for many years. Instead of thinking about what it normally holds, why not think outside the box? Why not use them in a vanity for the toothbrush, toothpaste and floss?

This is the type of creative thinking that a kitchen and bath designer does.

Let us help you. It’s what we do.
