My brothers will always find something to argue about. It doesn’t matter whether it is politics, sports or the weather, they have never agreed on anything. I can’t remember the last time Aunt Betty had a pleasant word for anyone and I truly believe that my in-laws only come to one of these dinner parties to eat whatever food is available and gather juicy tidbits of gossip with which to entertain themselves in the privacy of their own home.

My annual dinner party for the members of my extended family and closest friends is always a very difficult affair and I often times feel like a referee rather than a hostess. But this year we had a little bit of a surprise for everyone. We installed a custom designed kitchen from Wood Palace Kitchens.

I can honestly tell you that the only thing this unruly crowd has ever agreed upon is how much they all love my kitchen!

Hearing all of the enthusiastic compliments and watching how much everyone enjoyed just hanging around in the kitchen felt wonderful. I am even looking forward to next year!
